A responsible, provider-led approach to weight care

At RayMex Wellness, medical weight management is grounded in a careful clinical process — not a shortcut. GLP-1 medications can be one tool among many, but they are not right for everyone. Our role is to help you understand your options and to provide safe, individualized care when it is appropriate.

Comprehensive medical evaluation

A licensed provider reviews your medical history, current medications, and individual health risks before any treatment is considered.

Individualized care plan

Your plan is built around your health picture and goals — which may include lifestyle guidance, coordination of care, medication, or no medication.

Appropriate lab and health review

When indicated, laboratory work or records from your other providers may be requested to support safe, responsible care.

Ongoing monitoring & follow-up

If treatment begins, your provider monitors your response and adjusts the plan over time with regular follow-up visits.

Coordination with your care team

We can coordinate with your primary-care provider or specialists so your weight care fits into your overall health.

Privacy-first, minimum-necessary handling

The questionnaire collects only what is necessary. Detailed health answers are not stored or shared with advertising or analytics platforms.

This confidential preliminary questionnaire helps determine whether scheduling a medical consultation may be appropriate. It is not a diagnosis, medical evaluation, prescription, guarantee of treatment, or confirmation that you qualify for a particular medication.

This confidential preliminary questionnaire is a screening tool only. It is not a diagnosis, medical evaluation, prescription, guarantee of treatment, or confirmation that you qualify for a particular medication.

How the program works

Every step is designed around safe, individualized care. Your provider may recommend medication, lifestyle strategies, coordination of care, a referral, or no medication at all — depending on what is clinically appropriate for you.

1. Complete the confidential questionnaire

Answer a short set of educational questions to learn about general next steps. This does not diagnose you or confirm eligibility.

2. Schedule a medical consultation

If a consultation appears appropriate, you can request a visit with a licensed provider. This is an evaluation, not a medication purchase.

3. Comprehensive evaluation

Your provider reviews your medical history, current medications, and individual risks, and discusses your goals with you.

4. Appropriate testing & clearance

When indicated, your provider may request laboratory work or clearance from your primary-care provider or a specialist.

5. Individualized recommendation

Your provider may recommend lifestyle strategies, coordination of care, referral, medication, or no medication — whatever is clinically appropriate for you.

6. Ongoing follow-up & monitoring

If treatment begins, your provider monitors your progress and safety and adjusts your plan over time.

Safety & professional scope

You must be physically located in a state where the treating provider is licensed and authorized to practice at the time of your appointment.

RayMex Wellness currently serves patients located in Massachusetts. If you are physically outside a state where the provider is licensed at the time of your scheduled visit, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or cannot proceed.

RayMex Wellness provides services only in the state where the clinician is licensed and authorized to practice, and only within the clinician’s authorized scope of practice under Massachusetts law. All care is delivered by, or under the supervision of, a licensed provider.

Medical weight management requires a comprehensive evaluation. Depending on your history, your provider may request laboratory work, medical records, or clearance from your primary-care provider or a specialist before determining whether treatment is appropriate. This is a standard part of safe, responsible care.

GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for everyone and carry important risks and warnings. Your provider will review your full medical history and discuss potential benefits, risks, and alternatives with you. We do not promise specific results, and medication is never guaranteed.

RayMex Wellness is an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental-health crisis, call or text 988.

Frequently asked questions

What is GLP-1 medical weight management?
GLP-1 medical weight management is a clinician-supervised approach to weight care that may, when medically appropriate, include a class of prescription medications known as GLP-1 (and GLP-1/GIP) receptor agonists. At RayMex Wellness, care always begins with a comprehensive evaluation by a licensed provider who reviews your medical history, current medications, and individual health risks. Treatment may include lifestyle guidance, coordination with your other providers, medication, or no medication at all — depending on what is clinically appropriate for you.
Does completing the questionnaire mean I qualify for medication?
No. The questionnaire is an educational, informational tool only. It does not diagnose any condition, does not confirm eligibility, and does not guarantee that any medication will be prescribed. Only a licensed provider can determine whether any treatment is appropriate, and that determination is made after a comprehensive medical evaluation. Medication is never guaranteed.
Which medications might be considered?
When medically appropriate, a provider may discuss FDA-approved prescription medications indicated for chronic weight management, such as Wegovy® (semaglutide), Zepbound® (tirzepatide), and Saxenda® (liraglutide). Whether any medication is appropriate — and which one — depends entirely on your individual evaluation. RayMex Wellness does not prescribe compounded GLP-1 products. RayMex Wellness LLC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the manufacturers of these medications.
Who is not a candidate for GLP-1 medications?
GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for everyone. They are generally not recommended for people who are pregnant or planning pregnancy, and they carry important warnings for individuals with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, a history of pancreatitis, certain gastrointestinal conditions, and other specific medical situations. Your provider will review your complete history to determine whether treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
How much weight will I lose?
We cannot and do not promise any specific amount of weight loss. Individual results vary widely and depend on many factors, including your overall health, adherence, lifestyle, and how your body responds. Any discussion of expected outcomes will be individualized and based on clinical evidence during your evaluation. We do not make guarantees about results.
Do I need lab work or a medical evaluation?
Yes. Responsible medical weight management requires a comprehensive evaluation. Depending on your history, your provider may request laboratory work, records from your primary-care provider, or clearance from a specialist before determining whether treatment is appropriate. This is a standard part of safe, individualized care.
Is this service available across Massachusetts?
RayMex Wellness serves patients located in Massachusetts. Services are provided only where the clinician is licensed and authorized to practice, and only within the clinician’s authorized scope of practice. If you are located outside Massachusetts, please contact us so we can help you understand your options.
How does privacy work with this questionnaire?
Your privacy matters. The questionnaire collects the minimum information necessary. Your detailed health responses are used only to display general educational information to you and are not transmitted to our team or stored in our records. Only your contact details, your state, and a general result category are sent when you choose to submit and request follow-up. We do not share your questionnaire responses with advertising or analytics platforms. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.
What does a consultation cost, and is medication guaranteed?
Consultation and any treatment costs are discussed transparently before you commit to care. A consultation is an evaluation — it is not a purchase of medication, and medication is never guaranteed. If a provider determines that medication is not appropriate for you, they will discuss safe alternatives and next steps.
