RayMex Wellness accepts most major insurance plans across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including Medicare, Medicaid/MassHealth, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Tufts Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim, and UnitedHealthcare. We verify your specific benefits before your first appointment, and self-pay and out-of-network options are also available.

Before your first appointment, our team verifies your exact benefits so you know your costs up front — no surprises. Here is how it works and what to have ready.

You share your insurance details
When you book, provide your insurance carrier, member ID, group number, the subscriber’s name and date of birth, and a photo of the front and back of your card. This takes about 5 minutes online or by phone.

We contact your insurer
Our team confirms that RayMex Wellness is in-network for your plan, checks your mental health and telehealth benefits, and reviews your copay, coinsurance, deductible, and whether a referral or prior authorization is required.

We confirm your out-of-pocket cost
Most verifications are completed within 1–3 business days. We contact you with your estimated cost per visit before your first appointment so you can make an informed decision.

Spravato and prior authorization
For Spravato (esketamine), most plans — including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Medicare, MassHealth, and Aetna — require prior authorization and documentation of treatment-resistant depression (typically two or more prior antidepressant trials). Our team handles the prior authorization paperwork on your behalf.
