In Massachusetts, RayMex Wellness is in network with Medicare, MassHealth, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Tufts Health Plan, Carelon, and Commonwealth Care Alliance, with Cigna, Optum, AllWays, Mass General Brigham, and Harvard Pilgrim available through Nnemeka Okpala, PMHNP-BC. In Rhode Island, we are in network with Medicaid, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, and Tufts Health Plan, with Medicare and Cigna available through NP Okpala. We verify your specific benefits before your first appointment, and self-pay and out-of-network options are also available.

You share your insurance details
When you book, provide your insurance carrier, member ID, group number, the subscriber’s name and date of birth, and a photo of the front and back of your card. This takes about 5 minutes online or by phone.

We contact your insurer
Our team confirms that RayMex Wellness is in-network for your plan, checks your mental health and telehealth benefits, and reviews your copay, coinsurance, deductible, and whether a referral or prior authorization is required.

We confirm your out-of-pocket cost
Most verifications are completed within 1–3 business days. We contact you with your estimated cost per visit before your first appointment so you can make an informed decision.

Spravato and prior authorization
For Spravato (esketamine), most plans — including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Medicare, MassHealth, and Aetna — require prior authorization and documentation of treatment-resistant depression (typically two or more prior antidepressant trials). Our team handles the prior authorization paperwork on your behalf.
